Robotic Assisted Tray Server Machine
Trays are loaded by the operator into the down stacker. The system de-stacks the trays onto the conveyor and presents them to a Fanuc SR-6 SCARA robot. The Fanuc robot picks parts that have been deposited by the gantry robot from the injection molding machine.
There are Keyence sensors are used throughout the process to monitor the trays and part placement, and all motion is controlled with electric servo IAI actuators.
Once the trays are fully loaded they are moved out of the loading area, the full trays pass underneath a SIMCO Ionizer bar to help remove any static and help keep the parts clean. They accumulate in an offload zone where they are automatically moved forward as they are removed by an operator.
