Automotive Metal Clip Inspection Machine
This metal clip inspection machine uses a vibratory bowl feeder to present parts to an escapement for singulation. After the parts are singulated they are presented to onto the backlit inspection stage with an IAI linear servo actuator. The parts are inspected dimensionally and aesthetically with a combination of a Keyence CV-X and Keyence IV3 camera systems. Another IAI rotary servo motor handles the sorting and disposition of the inspected parts. Box handling for empty boxes and moving out full good boxes is done with a Harvard Factory Automation boxing conveyor.
